About

A travel project to share the real Japan through motorcycle touring. With tourism experience and cultural exchange, I guide riders beyond big cities to discover hidden stories.

Project Mission

This project aims to offer motorcyclists traveling in Japan experiences that money simply can’t buy.
It’s about discoveries along the way, meaningful encounters, and the personal growth that comes from the road.

Beyond the famous landmarks, I want to share the hidden stories and local charms that only a motorcycle can truly reach—guiding riders to the real Japan.
My mission is to create small but meaningful changes in the lives of a million people through the power of travel.

The full journey will begin in February 2026, and this site will grow with it—evolving through firsthand experiences and on-the-road knowledge.

Why I Started This Project

This journey began with two simple thoughts:
“I want to see more of Japan with my own eyes,” and
“I want to be able to speak about Japan in my own words.”

While traveling abroad, I realized how hard it was to explain my own country. Even when talking to my children about Japan, I often found myself relying on secondhand knowledge rather than personal experience—and that left me frustrated.

There’s another reason, too.
I once worked in regional tourism, where I saw firsthand how Japan’s local areas are full of beauty and depth. Yet, most international travelers only visit a handful of major destinations—Tokyo, Osaka, Hokkaido. Not because rural Japan lacks charm, but because its stories aren’t being told in a way that makes them accessible.

That’s what I want to change.
With a motorcycle, I can reach these hidden places and share their authentic character with riders from around the world.

My Background

Over ten years ago, I welcomed international travelers to Japan through WWOOF, and later hosted guests as an Airbnb host in the countryside.
Those experiences taught me how deeply travel can connect people, and how sharing daily life—even in a rural setting—can leave lasting memories.

Now, I’m combining those lessons with motorcycle touring. My goal is to create encounters that go beyond sightseeing, helping riders discover the real Japan in ways that trains or buses simply can’t offer.

Why Use This Site?

This site provides:

  • Essential information for foreigners who want to ride motorcycles in Japan
  • Recommendations for beautiful touring routes across the country
  • Sample itineraries tailored to different travel goals

By using this site, you can travel more freely, more safely, and with less stress—even if you don’t speak the language or fully understand the local rules.

I hope we’ll cross paths on the road someday—or even ride together.
Until then, ride safe and enjoy your journey.
